ppThis is a critical engineering role with an enviable list of high-profile customers. This is a full‑time role which hours are Monday – Friday 8am to 5pm. The role supports the region Data Centre Manager in overall responsibility for the buildings’ Electrical and Mechanical systems, both from a preventative and reactive maintenance perspective. Change management and incident management are also key elements of this role. This person must possess strong verbal, written communication skills and can lead others. We see opportunities where others see challenges. /p h3Key Responsibilities /h3 ul liTo provide a point of communication with customer representatives during day‑to‑day operations and incident escalation. /li liTo monitor compliance to SLA deliverables to the client areas within the Data Centre, and action accordingly to ensure compliance. /li liManagement of Contractors PPMs and Service Repairs on Critical Data Centre Systems, all associated administrative duties. /li liRead, review, and amend Data Centre Electrical / Mechanical system drawings. /li liPerform and Manage BMS monitoring and carry out primary response to Critical Non‑Critical Alarms. Must assist engineer’s performance of alarm diagnostic, generate RCA, and instigate repairs and process accordingly when they occur. /li liMonitor and Perform Customer requests and elevate when required as per escalation procedure. /li liReview, Dry‑Run and Modify CyrusOne MOP’s, EOP’s and SOP’s to reduce Human Error and ensure 100% uptime of the site. /li liMust maintain a minimum of HVAP Status and relevant qualifications whilst in the role, perform switching on occasion and cover out of hours support when customer contracts dictate. /li liReview and assign Reactive / Remedial works as raised on ticketing system on all Critical Equipment and building infrastructure. /li liProvide onsite cover for DCM during holidays or sickness. /li liProvide Technical responses to Field Service bulletins from customers or equipment manufacturers. /li /ul h3Equipment and building infrastructure to engineering team /h3 ul liEnsure that RFCs are carried out following Change Management Process. Review of sub‑contractors’ RAMS, competency records, and company QHSE requirements prior to PTW/ATW and customer QHSE control procedures. /li liEnsure the provision of a safe and healthy working environment, and ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures, as well as client site policies, procedures and working arrangements, as required.
