The Role As a Sales Development Representative (Inbound OR Outbound) to help us grow in the Spanish market, you will be responsible for generating and qualifying new business opportunities in the Spanish market. You will work with both inbound leads OR outbound prospecting to build a strong sales pipeline and support revenue growth. Outbound Responsibilities • Cold calling & messaging: run high-volume, high-quality outreach via phone, email, LinkedIn, and sequences—testing angles and improving over time., • Research & personalization: understand the prospect’s context (industry, pain points, tech stack, goals) and tailor your approach accordingly., • Discovery & qualification: qualify prospects using structured frameworks (e.g., BANT) to assess fit, need, urgency, and potential., • Meeting setting & handoff: book strong meetings for AEs with clear notes, pain points, current setup, and next steps., • Pipeline discipline: maintain accurate data in HubSpot (or equivalent), logging activities and keeping the funnel clean., • Cross-functional collaboration: partner with Sales,Marketing, and Operations to refine ICP, messaging, sequences, and campaign learnings., • Performance & optimization: track KPIs (activity, connect rate, reply rate, meeting rate, SQL rate) and continuously iterate. Inbound Responsibilities Digital (and when needed CEOs/Founders) to understand their goals, processes, and pain points. • Qualification & handoff to AEs: use structured qualification frameworks (e.g., BANT) to pass high-quality opportunities to Account Executives., • Multi-channel outreach: calls, emails, LinkedIn, and structured follow-ups to increase conversion and demo show rates., • CRM & tools: manage activities and pipeline in HubSpot, keeping data accurate and clean., • Cross-functional collaboration: work closely with Marketing, Sales and Operations to improve messaging, response time, lead quality, and campaign performance., • Continuous optimization: test and refine scripts, sequences, CTAs, and qualification criteria to improve conversion rates and sales velocity. Requirements: • 1–2 years in SDR/BDR or sales roles (ideally SaaS or digital)., • Outbound DNA: proven ability (or strong willingness) to prospect, handle rejection, and consistently create opportunities., • Languages: native-level Spanish + professional English., • Location: based in Barcelona, available to work on-site., • Strong communication: concise, persuasive, and confident—especially on the phone., • Coachability & mindset: open to feedback, eager to learn, and driven by measurable outcomes., • Consultative mindset: strong listening skills, ability to ask the right questions, and connect needs to value., • Organization: ability to manage sequences, follow-ups, and pipeline with structure and discipline., • Resilience: comfortable in a fast-paced startup environment where persistence wins., • Ownership & autonomy: proactive, organized, and driven by results and improvement., • challenges and learning. Nice to have: • Experience with HubSpot., • Fluent Italian speaker, • Familiarity with pipeline management and outbound metrics., • Experience working with e-commerce, marketing, or customer experience teams., • Interest in conversational marketing or WhatsApp Business tools., • HubSpot (or Salesforce), calling tools (Aircall or similar), sequencing/automation tools (Apollo,Lemlist, etc.)., • Familiarity with ICP, lead scoring, pipeline, MQL/SQL, and outbound metrics. Bonus points Experience with e-commerce / retail / customer care businesses. Interest or knowledge in WhatsApp Business / conversational marketing / automation. Methodical approach: scripts, sequences, A/B testing, reporting, and KPI tracking. Analytical mindset: ability to read funnel metrics, identify bottlenecks, and propose improvements.
