Job Description What you’ll do… Support the running of our day-to-day Front Office, leading and inspiring our receptionists to create a memorable, effortless Hox experience for our guests – from when they arrive, over the course of their stay and until they get their bill and head off again. Lead your team by example, keeping them involved and motivated; help them feel empowered and supported, confident in providing top experiences for our guests and comfortable turning to you with questions. Contribute to our success as a business, by making sure the right rates are being used, managing overbooking levels and working with the team to make sure we have a full and happy house. You’ll be hands-on and willing to regularly work both front and back of house, maintaining lobby and public area presence, spending time with guests and team members alike. To assist the Director of Operations and General Manager to manage any changes in hotel procedures around health and safety compliance. Be fluent in Spanish and English, Catalan will by highly valuable as other additional languages. Estamos en la búsqueda de un Chef Ejecutivo con una sólida experiencia en cocina mediterránea, especialmente en la elaboración de arroces, para liderar el equipo culinario de nuestro restaurante reconocido en la ciudad de Valencia, Venezuela. El candidato ideal será un profesional apasionado por la gastronomía, con habilidades en la gestión de cocina y un enfoque innovador, que busque embarcarse en un nuevo proyecto culinario de alto nivel. Responsabilidades: Liderazgo de la cocina: Supervisar y dirigir todas las operaciones culinarias, garantizando la calidad y la consistencia de todos los platos. Creación y desarrollo de menús: Diseñar menús que reflejen la esencia de la cocina mediterránea y que resalten platos tradicionales de arroces, buscando siempre la innovación y la satisfacción de los comensales. Control de calidad y de inventarios: Asegurarse de que los ingredientes sean de la mejor calidad y gestionar los inventarios de manera eficiente. Formación del equipo: Dirigir, capacitar y motivar al equipo de cocina, fomentando un ambiente de trabajo colaborativo y profesional. Cumplimiento de estándares: Mantener altos estándares de higiene y seguridad alimentaria, cumpliendo con las normativas locales y de salud pública. Requisitos: Experiencia: Mínimo 5 años de experiencia como chef, con al menos 2 años de experiencia liderando cocinas mediterráneas, con énfasis en la elaboración de arroces (paellas, arroces caldosos, risottos, entre otros). Conocimientos: Dominio de las técnicas culinarias mediterráneas, especialmente en la preparación de arroces, y un profundo conocimiento de la gastronomía regional española. Creatividad y pasión: Capacidad para innovar sin perder la esencia de los platos tradicionales. Preferiblemente local de España: Se valorará positivamente que el candidato sea originario de España o tenga experiencia trabajando en la región. Compromiso con el emprendimiento: Motivación para ser parte de un nuevo proyecto y llevar la cocina del restaurante a un nivel superior en la ciudad de Valencia, Venezuela. Habilidades de liderazgo: Capacidad para gestionar equipos, mantener un ambiente positivo y productivo en la cocina, y resolver problemas de forma eficaz.
