Position Name: RTW Trims Developer Location: Paris Maternity Cover Start date: December 10, 2025 End date: Mid March 2026 JOB MISSION • You will be responsible for developing trims for specific RTW collections across all categories (woven, knit, denim, jersey, leather)., • The Trims Developer will be expected to understand design request thoroughly, select appropriate supplier allocations to ensure the highest quality of trims, guarantee timely delivery for prototype production and facilitate a seamless handover to the Quality and Production teams. Counter-samples may be required to achieve optimal product, price and lead times for the production., • The workload involves 4 collections a year – excluding collaborations or small capsule collections., • The position reports to the Women RTW Trims PD Manager. KEY FUNCTION The main responsibilities are as follows: DEVELOPMENT • Attend all trim review meetings with Designers and Product Development (PD) to effectively initiate trim development considering the budget provided by the RTW Head of Development and the target price points., • Initiate and monitor all trim developments originating from Designers and Product developers. You will be responsible for allocating these developments to appropriate trim suppliers, aiming for the best quality at the price point established by the product strategy., • PLM codification: Ensure all relevant documents are updated with accurate technical information (PLM/ Boards/ Fabric books), • All developments will be codified on shared files and within PLM, including prices for each fitting stage. As an integral part of the development team, you will ensure maximum transparency regarding product specifications, costs, and deadlines with other PD members to facilitate timely and proper launches., • Monitor and track delivery dates. Following trim review meetings with PD and designers, establish and track delivery dates for subsequent fittings. Proactively identify and address any potential delivery delays., • Develop and propose alternative options if deliveries cannot be met., • Maintain up-to-date communication tools. Ensure all documents (file overview of launches, boards, trays, trims master books, PLM) are consistently updated to ensure accuracy for use by the Merchandising team, the studio and PD., • Prepare presentations for fittings. Ensure all visuals – boards and trays - are prepared for pre‐fittings, in accordance with designers and PD requirements. Ensure timely delivery and organized setup at the fitting location., • Dyeing and Galvanisation. Organize, initiate, and monitor required dyeing and galvanisation processes for trims based on product development needs., • Maintain organization and clarity. Ensure all trim developments are consistently organized, both in stock and during fittings. BUDGETS • Continuously monitor budgets to provide weekly updates on the progress of each collection you develop. Highlight any issues and anticipated budget overruns., • Ensure timely validation of invoices to facilitate prompt payment to suppliers. QUALITY & HANDOVER WITH PRODUCTION • Maintain transparency with the production team. As the key person for trims, collaborate with the production team to ensure they have all necessary information for production execution., • Quality Is Key at Loewe. Anticipate potential challenges and collaborate with the Spain-based quality team to develop solutions. This includes initiating tests during development for all sensitive materials and processes., • Prepare all information on PLM for handover and costing meetings. Provide trims master books, ready to be sent to the production team – with samples when it involves a new development. This is to ensure smooth understanding for the production team., • Demonstrate resourcefulness in identifying commercial alternatives and proposing adjustments when target price points set by the RTW Development Director cannot be achieved., • Participate in "Detail Review," handover meetings, and important costing meetings with the Merchandising team, PD, and Development Director to ensure raw materials align with price guidelines and are appropriately balanced. STOCK CARRY OVERS • As a key contact, regularly monitor trims carry-over stock to prevent shortages. Collaborate with PD, who will also highlight low stock levels. Conduct stock checks twice a month, dividing this task with the other trim developers based on workload agreements. PROFILE • Significant experience in trims development., • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills: Consistently communicate effectively regarding trims with the studio, atelier, and Product Developers., • Team player: Dedicated to ensuring timely delivery of trims that meet the requirements of Design, Atelier, and PD., • Highly dynamic and positive attitude., • Ideally, possess a strong network of contacts in the luxury raw materials sector., • Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to data, pricing, and Excel., • Fluent in English (fluency in French and Italian is appreciated)., • Proficient with computer systems (PLM, Excel, etc.).
