Envu is proud to be Great Place to Work Certified in the U.S., France and India (June 2025 – June 2026) FUNCTION: Innovation LOCATION: Lyon, France JOB TYPE: Temporary – 6 months internship JOB GRADE: 1 GET TO KNOW YOUR AREA: As part of their internship learning journey, the Innovation Scouting and partnership intern will learn about the company’s processes and innovation landscape, and will support driving the compilation of innovation initiatives that are taken in the field of environmental science. At the end of the internship, they will have learned how innovation works in environmental science / chemistry and will have acquired solid work methods in the innovation space. YOUR MISSION WILL BE TO: Understand the Environmental Science business and how we innovate at Envu: • Understand our markets, activities and how our business model works. This item will provide solid foundation to understand the chemistry and environmental science industry, introduce the importance of product safety, regulations that apply to our products and how critical is formulation for the markets we serve., • The intern will then learn how innovation works at Envu, through introduction to innovation processes., • They will gain a view of the complexity of registering plant protections and pest control products, and understand the amount of complexity and expertise required to do so. Hands-on experience: • The intern will be reporting to the Head of Innovation Scouting and Partnership and will support coordinating the compilation of innovation initiatives that are taken in the field of environmental science including synthetic chemistry and bio-rational / alternatives to traditional chemistry. This work will support guiding the strategy of the innovation company for the next 10 years and it will give a chance to the intern to make a concrete, visible and lasting impact in the environmental science industry., • They will work closely with multiple stakeholders within the global innovation function, including research scientists, regulatory and innovation project experts, as well as interact with marketing and finance. ARE YOU READY FOR THE ROLE? Main requirements: Education: • In process of acquiring an MSc degree in a relevant field (e.g., Engineering, Chemistry, Biology, Agronomy). BSc or equivalent in those fields is a requirement.
