We are excited to introduce Chintemani, a new high-end casual dining restaurant opening in Chelsea this April. Inspired by Mediterranean and Turkish flavours, our concept brings together refined techniques, seasonal ingredients, and a modern presentation style.
As we prepare for launch, we are looking for a Junior Pastry / Bakery Chef to join our opening team and support the development of our dessert and bakery section.
Role Overview
You will work closely with the Head Chef and senior kitchen team to deliver high-quality desserts, breads, and baked goods. This is a great opportunity for a passionate chef who wants to grow within a structured, ambitious kitchen environment.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in the preparation and service of desserts, pastries, and bakery items
Support daily production of breads, doughs, and laminated products
Ensure consistency, quality, and presentation standards are met
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the pastry section
Follow food safety and hygiene standards at all times
Contribute to menu development and seasonal changes
Requirements
Previous experience in a pastry or bakery role (restaurant or hotel preferred)
Basic knowledge of pastry techniques, dough fermentation, and baking processes
Strong attention to detail and passion for quality
Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced kitchen
Team player with a positive attitude and willingness to learn
