The ideal candidate will have previous motor trade experience and have a relevant vehicle body repairs qualification, preferably ATA accreditation. Duties include: Repair or replace bodywork panels of damaged vehicles, including chassis and framework Working to timescale for completion of repairs Fit, strip, restore and prepare variety of vehicle parts Have experience welding to a professional standard Operate and use a jig Analyse and report additional damage Follow correct repair techniques and produce work to customer satisfaction Ensure all equipment, including jigs and welding equipment is operated in accordance with safety requirements Other duties as required Have experience painting vehicles (preferred, not essential) The ideal candidate must take pride in their work and: Have a good eye for detail Must have strong communication skills Must be aware of and adhere to Health and Safety regulations Demonstrate secure and current knowledge of repair techniques Must be a team player and be able to work under pressure Must have a 'can do' attitude
