Nursery Assistant (Supply) β Wakefield Milk Education | Early Years | Flexible Supply Work π Location: Wakefield & surrounding areas π Contract: Flexible supply / temp πΌ Start: ASAP About the Role Milk Education is seeking passionate Nursery Assistants to support Early Years settings across Wakefield on a flexible supply basis. If youβre nurturing, reliable, and love helping young children learn and grow, weβd love to connect. Key Responsibilities β’ Support qualified EY staff in delivering high-quality Early Years provision, β’ Assist with daily routines: personal care, play, meals, supervision, β’ Deliver engaging, development-focused activities aligned to the EYFS Framework, β’ Help create safe, inclusive, stimulating learning environments, β’ Build strong, positive relationships with children, staff and parents Essential Requirements β EYFS Framework (Updated Requirements) To be eligible to work in nursery settings, you must meet the following: β
Full & Relevant Early Years Qualification Level 2, 3 or 6 approved on the DfE Early Years Qualification List. β
Paediatric First Aid (PFA) If your Level 2 or Level 3 qualification was awarded on/after 30 June 2016, you must hold a valid Paediatric First Aid certificate (or obtain one within 3 months). PFA must be renewed every 3 years. β
English Requirement for Level 3 A recognised Level 2 English qualification is required to count in Level 3 ratios.
