Responsibilities: • Act as the first point of contact for patients or healthcare professionals via telephone and email., • Process appointment requests via phone, email or in person., • Maintain and monitor the practice appointment system (EMIS)., • Initiate and respond to requests from patients, team members, and external bodies., • Become a system expert in EMIS, the clinical system used to manage patient records, appointments, and healthcare data., • Use DOCMAN, a cloud-based workflow management platform that streamlines the handling of inbound clinical correspondence., • Collaborate internally using Microsoft Teams for communication and coordination., • Read-code data on EMIS and ensure accurate updates to patient records., • Process referrals to secondary care using the Electronic Referral System (ERS)., • Handle incoming and outgoing mail and manage correspondence., • Input data for new and temporary registrations and update patient information as needed., • Friendly and professional., • Excellent communication skills., • Organised and detail-oriented., • Team player. Working hours: 30 hours per week, 12pm – 6pm with 30 minute lunch break.
