What You'll Be Doing Supporting the business and our divisional offices, our Head Office functions cover all departments from the Executive Board through to our support functions such as Group Design and Technical, HR, Health and Safety, IT, Sales and Marketing, Commercial, Procurement, Group Finance, Corporate Affairs, and Legal and Company Secretariat. Reporting to the Group Senior Architectural Technician, you will be involved in the production of all standard Group House type Working Drawings and Standard Details from Design drawings, collating Technical Specifications, liaising with Group Suppliers, and supporting Operational Divisions. Provide knowledge of building construction and technology to the team. Produce working and detailed drawings of new house types. Manage external consultants to ensure best practice is followed, costs are controlled, and a high quality of work is delivered. Interpret designs accurately, ensuring technical correctness and compliance with all regulations and programme requirements. Update and revise existing house types as required. Liaise and provide backup to Divisions, offering information and resolving any queries. Encourage feedback on house types/standard details from Divisions. Check third‑party information relating to house types. Carry out programmed site visits as part of the Group Design & Technical Site Visit Programme, liaising with the Technical/Construction Directors. Communicate with and visit Regions/Divisions at offices and on sites when required. Communicate with all regulatory bodies required. Comply with responsibilities as defined in the Group’s Health, Safety & Environment Policy. Implement new ideas and methods to improve contribution to the organisation’s goals and enhance the company’s reputation. Deputise for or support the Group Senior Architectural Technologist/Technician when required. What You’ll Need Qualified as an Architectural Technician/Technologist to HNC level as a minimum. Good organisation and task management skills. A strong technical knowledge of current regulations and legislation. Excellent communication skills when interfacing with Divisional teams, sites, and regulatory bodies. Customer‑focused mindset. Ability to identify and solve problems effectively. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines. Team‑work skills. Competent IT skills, including use of AutoCAD/Revit. Benefits Competitive salary. Competitive bonus scheme.
