About the Role We are seeking a detail-oriented Architectural Technician to support the design and delivery of construction projects. This role focuses on producing technical drawings, ensuring compliance with building regulations, and collaborating with architects, engineers, and contractors. The ideal candidate brings strong technical expertise, construction knowledge, and a commitment to quality and accuracy. Key Responsibilities • Prepare and develop detailed architectural drawings and technical specifications, • Support design development from concept through to construction stages, • Ensure compliance with building regulations, codes, and planning requirements, • Coordinate with architects, engineers, and project teams, • Assist in material selection and construction detailing, • Conduct site visits and support project implementation, • Review drawings and resolve technical issues, • Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Architectural Technology, or a related field, • Minimum 3+ years of experience in architectural design or construction projects, • Strong proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, or similar tools, • Good understanding of construction methods, materials, and regulations, • Strong attention to detail and technical accuracy, • Excellent communication and teamwork skills, • Mandatory Certification (at least one):, • Membership or certification from Chartered Institute of Architectural Technologists (CIAT), • Experience working on residential, commercial, or infrastructure projects, • Familiarity with UK or local building regulations and planning processes, • Knowledge of BIM (Building Information Modeling) workflows, • Experience with sustainable design and construction practices, • Technical Drawing & Design, • Construction Detailing, • Building Regulations Compliance, • BIM & CAD Tools, • Competitive, market-aligned compensation, • Opportunity to work on diverse construction and design projects, • Career progression and professional development support, • Exposure to modern design tools and BIM practices We are an equal opportunity employer.
