Community Connex support people with a learning disability, autistic people, those experiencing disadvantages, and their families to help them live healthier, happier and inclusive lives. What You'll Do Prepare a selection of sandwiches (e.g., cheese, egg, tuna, vegetarian options) for our social lunch sessions. Bake or bring cakes, traybakes or simple desserts for participants to enjoy. Follow basic food hygiene guidance (we will provide support and training if needed). Work alongside staff and volunteers to set up food for serving. Help create a friendly, relaxed atmosphere where people feel welcome. Support our mission to reduce isolation and bring people together. What You'll Gain Training in food hygiene and infection control. Friendly, reliable and happy to support a community focused session. Comfortable volunteering once a month. No professional cooking experience required, just enthusiasm and kindness.
