Senior Production Engineer – Audio Visual Live Events 📍 Egham | Permanent | £40,000–£45,000 I'm working with a leading global AV integration provider to hire a Senior Production Engineer to join their engineering team in London. This is an exciting opportunity for a technically skilled professional with strong rack build and AV systems knowledge, who also enjoys leading and mentoring others. You’ll be a key player in assembling, wiring, and troubleshooting AV racks — setting the standard for quality, organisation, and reliability. This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in precision engineering and wants to make a visible impact on mission-critical installations across global clients. What You’ll Be Doing • Assemble and wire AV racks to a high standard, ensuring industry best practices are met, • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues during rack builds and off-site deployments, • Maintain accurate rack inventory and documentation, • Lead and guide junior team members in their development and day-to-day responsibilities, • Pre-prepare cables for upcoming projects and maintain a tidy, safe work environment, • Collaborate with production and project managers to implement improvements and meet deadlines, • Act as a key liaison between engineering, production, and project teams, • Maintain consistency across rack builds — especially when working on repeat system designs, • Stay current with industry trends and rack build technologies About You • Strong technical knowledge of AV systems and rack builds, • Experience assembling, wiring, and troubleshooting complex AV racks, • A hands-on leader who leads by example and provides guidance to junior staff, • Excellent organisation and attention to detail, • Able to manage multiple rack projects in a fast-paced environment, • Proactive communicator with a collaborative mindset, • Familiarity with health & safety best practices in a workshop setting, • Comfortable working on-site and off-site when required Working Hours • Full-time: 40 hours/week, • Rotational shift pattern between 7:00am–7:00pm, Monday to Friday (with 1-hour unpaid break) Salary & Benefits • £40,000–£45,000 per annum, • Permanent position with career growth opportunities, • Modern facilities and collaborative environment, • Exposure to high-end AV projects for global clients, • Opportunity to contribute to new process development and innovations 📩 Interested?
