Management Accountant - Slough - c£45k + Car Allowance + Hybrid The Role A well-established, international financial services organisation, part of one of Europe’s top 10 largest banking groups, is seeking a commercially minded Management Accountant to join its finance team. This is an excellent opportunity to play a key role in financial planning, reporting, and analysis within a dynamic and fast-paced environment. Reporting to the FP&A Manager, you will be responsible for budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis, while supporting senior stakeholders with high-quality financial insights. You will also contribute to ongoing projects and work closely with multiple departments to drive business performance. Key Responsibilities • Prepare and maintain monthly management reporting and support Group reporting requirements, • Develop and maintain financial models for forecasting, budgeting, and planning, • Produce detailed variance analysis against budgets and forecasts, • Prepare monthly financial reporting packs for senior management, • Support submission of reports to Head Office using internal reporting systems, • Perform reconciliations between local and head office data, • Provide insight and analysis to support decision-making and business performance, • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand key business drivers, • Support ad-hoc analysis, projects, and investigations, • Act as a key contact for Head Office and auditors in relation to budgets, forecasts, and reporting, • Degree qualified and working towards or part-qualified in a recognised accounting qualification, • 3–4 years’ experience within FP&A or financial analysis, • Strong financial modelling and analytical skills, • Advanced Excel skills, • Experience with systems such as SAP, Business Objects, or similar reporting tools, • Solid understanding of budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis, • Commercially aware with a strong attention to detail, • Confident communicator with the ability to work with senior stakeholders, • Proactive, inquisitive, and able to solve complex problems, • Salary to £45,000, • Hybrid working, • 25 days holiday plus bank holidays, • Pension, • Private healthcare (Bupa/Simply Health opt-in), • Company car allowance, • Supportive and collaborative team environment If you’re an ambitious Management Accountant looking to take the next step in your career within a forward-thinking organisation, apply now!
