Professional Support Lawyer – Corporate • Annual Salary: £75k - £85k with a bespoke Bonus Scheme, • Location: Blackwater Valley, on the Surrey & Hampshire Borders!, • Job Type: Full-time (Also open to part-time applicants and/or compressed hour applicants for this role) Join our award-winning Corporate Team at a Legal 500 ranked firm known for our ambitious approach and commitment to growth. We are seeking a Professional Support Lawyer to play a strategic role in shaping how legal knowledge is developed and delivered within our Corporate team. Day-to-day of the role: • Knowledge Management & Technical Excellence:, • Develop and maintain high-quality precedents, templates, and guidance aligned with market practice., • Manage and enhance the firm’s corporate know-how resources., • Provide practical legal support and research across corporate matters., • Act as a trusted technical sounding board for complex issues., • Monitor and communicate key legal and regulatory developments., • Training & Development:, • Identify training needs across the Corporate team., • Design and deliver engaging training programmes, particularly in M&A and corporate best practice., • Support trainee development, induction, and ongoing learning initiatives., • Contribute to the Corporate Learning & Development strategy., • Business Development & Client Engagement:, • Support client initiatives including briefings, campaigns, and training sessions., • Contribute technical input to proposals and pitches., • Assist in developing thought leadership and client-facing content., • Innovation & Change:, • Support the delivery of the Corporate innovation strategy., • Identify opportunities for legal tech adoption and process improvement., • Champion knowledge sharing and continuous improvement., • Promote technology-driven efficiencies across the team., • Collaboration & Strategy:, • Work closely with Corporate partners and lawyers, as well as the wider knowledge function., • Support practice group strategy and key initiatives., • Collaborate with specialist teams (tax, employment, banking) to ensure integrated advice. Required Skills & Qualifications: • 6+ years PQE as a Corporate lawyer or established Professional Support Lawyer (PSL)., • Strong experience in mid-market M&A and the full deal lifecycle., • Excellent drafting and research skills, with the ability to produce clear, practical guidance., • Confident communicator with strong stakeholder engagement skills., • Experience supporting training or developing junior lawyers., • Organised, detail-oriented, and commercially aware., • Collaborative, proactive, and interested in innovation and legal tech.
