Go Tutor Tuition Centre – Now Recruiting Tutors for New North West London Branch We are excited to announce the opening of a new branch of Go Tutor Tuition Centre in North West London and are looking to build a strong team of dedicated tutors to support our growing community of learners. We are recruiting for: • Maths Tutors (KS1–GCSE), • English Tutors (KS1–GCSE), • Science Tutors (Biology, Chemistry, Physics – KS3–GCSE), • 11+ Entrance Exam Tutors (Verbal, Non-Verbal, Maths, English) About the Role As a tutor at Go Tutor Tuition Centre, you will: • Deliver high-quality small-group or 1-to-1 lessons following the UK curriculum., • Plan and prepare engaging, structured sessions tailored to each student’s needs., • Assess students’ strengths and gaps and provide clear, constructive feedback., • Track progress and contribute to individual learning plans., • Help students build confidence, exam technique and strong study habits., • Maintain a positive, professional classroom environment., • Communicate effectively with parents/guardians and the Centre Manager when required., • Uphold Go Tutor’s safeguarding, behaviour and professional standards at all times. Most sessions will take place after school, evenings and weekends, so flexibility to work during these times is important. What We’re Looking For Essential: • Strong subject knowledge in Maths, English, Science or 11+ (this is compulsory)., • Excellent spoken and written English., • Ability to explain concepts clearly and in a student-friendly way., • Reliable, punctual and highly organised., • Professional, positive attitude and a genuine passion for education. Preferable: • Previous experience in tuition, teaching, mentoring or working with children/young people., • Experience with UK National Curriculum, GCSE and/or A Level specifications., • Experience preparing students for 11+ or other entrance exams (for 11+ tutor roles)., • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or teaching-related qualifications (desirable but not essential)., • Experience working in a tuition centre or school environment. All tutors must be willing to undergo an enhanced DBS check or provide a recent one, in line with our safeguarding policies. As a growing company, we’re building a dedicated team of tutors to help expand our reach across London. Our main base is in Stoke Newington, with clubs also located in Kentish Town, Kensington, and Edgware. Who We’re Looking For Our ideal candidate is passionate about nurturing young learners and has the ability to simplify scientific concepts in biology, chemistry, and physics for children aged 5 to 11. While a science degree isn’t required, we’ve found that candidates who have studied science at least to A-level are better prepared to present the material effectively. We provide online and in-person training, with continuous support provided. Essential Requirements: • Enhance DBS check, • Interested in science and learning, • Willingness to travel across London, • Reliable and responsible attitude, • Willingness to learn both science and class management Role Details: • Fixed-term contract for primary school terms (approx 12 weeks) with possibility to extend, • Teach 5 classes per week in primary schools, • Managing the club and birthday party equipment (during the week only), • There are also additional weekend hours available as a science party host, • Summer and half-term holidays excluded (unless you want to joim us for camps too!) Additionally, there is opportunity for you to take on admin work regarding the birthday parties. We need someone to organise the party requests and calander, liase with the parents and the party hosts, arranging who takes on which party. We are looking for someone who can commit to delivering exciting and engaging science lessons in a fun, hands-on environment.
