Conflicts Advisor \n Hybrid 2 days in office (Ocassional travel to London) \n Belfast \n \nWe're currently working with a brilliant growing law firm, truly investing in their Compliance function. This is a great opportunity to join a national law firm, with a supportive team and quality work. \n \nFocusing on client and matter take-on, as the firm look to expand a new conflicts function splitting their current generalist compliance team. This is a team with great opportunity for internal progression, as multiple managers in the team have progressed from analyst to manager. \n \nNow looking for someone to move into a technical advisory role. \n \nThe role? \n\n \n\n\n\t • Be the first point of contact for conflict queries from legal teams.\n\t, • Provide strategic advice on conflicts of interest, compliance, and reputational risk.\n\t, • Investigate and resolve complex conflicts issues on new and existing mandates.\n\t, • Support training, documentation, and process improvements across the team.\n\t, • Review and analyse conflict reports to identify potential legal or commercial risks.\n\t, • Advise on new instructions, changes in scope, and lateral hires in line with firm policies.\n\t, • Collaborate with partners and fee earners to resolve conflicts and escalate as necessary.\n\t, • Maintain systems such as Intapp and blackbook, ensuring accurate and up-to-date records.\n\t, • Assist with drafting conflicts-related policies, templates, and internal communications.\n\n\n \nAbout you? \n\n \n\n \n\n\n\t • 5+ years in Legal Compliance, specifically focused in Conflicts\n\t, • Strong knowledge of professional conflicts rules\n\t, • Practical experience, preventing, managing and identifying Conflicts \n\t, • Analytical and communication sills\n\t, • Experience with InTapp\n\n\n \nWhat's in it for you? \n \nJoin a growing compliance team, working closely with partners, lawyers, and other business stakeholders.
