The Opportunity This graduate programme is designed for ambitious Japanese-speaking graduates who want a client-facing career at the intersection of financial markets, data, and technology. Start Dates: March or May 2026 Location: London (with EMEA travel) Programme Type: Graduate Scheme Application Deadline: 30 April 2026 Visa Sponsorship: Available (UK Skilled Worker – New Entrant route) You’ll begin in an Analytics function, becoming an expert user of a world-leading financial data and analytics platform while supporting global clients across investment banking, asset management, trading, and corporate finance. As your expertise grows, you’ll have a clear pathway into Sales, working directly with senior financial decision-makers and driving commercial growth. This is not a passive grad scheme. You’ll be trusted early, trained intensively, and exposed to real market conversations from day one. Key Criteria (Essential) • Fluent Japanese and English (written and spoken), • Bachelor’s degree (or higher) or equivalent relevant work experience, • Strong interest in financial markets and financial services, • Ability to multitask and solve client problems under time pressure, • Excellent analytical, critical-thinking, and problem-solving skills, • Confident communicator with strong interpersonal skills, • High resilience, adaptability, and learning agility, • Motivation to pursue a client-facing career, with long-term interest in sales or relationship management, • Willingness to travel across EMEA as required, • Flexibility to occasionally work weekends or bank holidays (time off in lieu provided), • Exposure to Python or other programming languages, • Beginner to intermediate Excel and/or VBA skills, • Previous client-facing, customer support, or relationship management experience, • Understanding of financial instruments, trading, or investment workflows What You’ll Be Doing Analytics (Initial Role) • Provide high-quality, real-time client support via live chat and digital channels, • Resolve complex analytical, technical, and market-related queries, • Educate clients on financial data, analytics tools, and workflow solutions, • Support users across asset classes including equities, fixed income, FX, commodities, and derivatives, • Deliver product training sessions and support client onboarding Sales (Progression Opportunity) As you develop, you may transition into a Sales role where you will: • Manage and grow client relationships, • Identify new revenue and expansion opportunities, • Understand client workflows and present tailored enterprise solutions Training & Career Development You’ll complete a comprehensive Analytics & Sales training programme, covering: • Financial markets, asset classes, and market participants, • Platform functionality and advanced analytics, • Client workflows and consultative problem-solving, • Sales, • Advanced analytics or specialist support roles, • Leadership and team management Who This Role Is For You’re intellectually curious, commercially aware, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, client-driven environment.
