Talentmark are recruiting for a Shift Supervisor, to join the Operations Team within a leading large scale chemical manufacturing company, at their site based in Norwich, on a full time, permanent basis, for a salary of £50,000 - £55,000 per annum. This includes the shift premium. This company provides world class contract manufacturing services to global leaders in the agrochemical, fine and speciality chemical sector. Location: The Shift Supervisor reports directly to the Shift Manager and will be based at the company's site in Norwich. The role will be entirely on-site. Rotating shift pattern - 4-on/4-off; averaging 42 hours per week. Formulation Chemist Role: Your main duties will include: Safety: Acting as the Site Main Controller and coordinating Emergency responses and accounting for all site personnel. Authorising, coordinating and preparing a Safe System of Work for activities. Help to achieve Zero incidents by upholding Safety Standards, Behaviour and Continuous Improvement across the company.Plant Operations: Supporting the Shift Manager with developing, coaching and supervising over 20 Operators and Senior Shift Operators. Working closely with other supervisors across the site to drive performance.
