About Us: Jameel Motors has partnered with Chinese automaker GAC to launch its AION electric vehicles in the UK, marking GAC’s first entry into the market. The partnership will introduce the AION V SUV and AION UT hatchback, this move expands Jameel Motors’ portfolio into passenger EVs and supports the UK’s growing demand for sustainable mobility. Job Summary Jameel Motors is proud to launch its new GAC dealership and is seeking an experienced and dynamic General Manager to lead its operations. This person will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the dealership's performance—including sales, aftersales, customer experience, marketing, and staff development. This is a strategic leadership role critical to the successful growth and positioning of the GAC brand under Jameel Motors in a competitive automotive market. Key Responsibilities • Lead and manage daily dealership operations across all departments: Sales, Aftersales, Service, and Administration., • Develop and execute strategic business plans to meet sales targets, profitability goals, and customer satisfaction KPIs., • Recruit, train, and mentor a high-performing team while fostering a culture of excellence, accountability, and customer focus., • Ensure compliance with GAC brand standards and Jameel Motors’ operational policies., • Analyze market trends and competitor activity to inform pricing, marketing, and inventory strategies., • Drive high levels of customer satisfaction through quality service, efficient processes, and effective problem resolution., • Monitor financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control measures., • Establish and maintain strong relationships with GAC corporate, customers, suppliers, and business partners. Qualifications & Experience • Strong expertise and experience within the automotive industry, with extensive background within a senior dealership management role., • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and improving dealership performance., • Able to adapt to a new working environment and foster a positive workforce and culture., • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills., • In-depth knowledge of dealership operations, including new and used vehicle sales, service, and parts., • Experience launching or managing a new automotive brand will be a strong advantage.
