My client is a large Tier 1 Maintenance Contractor are looking for an Ops Manager . We are seeking an exceptional General Manager – Head of Operations to drive performance, operational excellence, and customer satisfaction across a large and diverse geographical area spanning the M4 corridor, Hampshire and London. About the Role Leading a team of up to 200 colleagues, you’ll set the strategic direction, ensure financial performance, and embed a high-performance culture that places customer experience at the heart of everything delivered. This is a senior leadership role requiring strong commercial acumen, operational expertise, and the ability to inspire and develop large teams. Key Responsibilities • Lead and manage delivery of repairs, voids and planned works, • Oversee branch performance, ensuring P&L delivery meets or exceeds budget, • Drive operational efficiency, productivity and KPI performance, • Implement robust governance, risk management and compliance controls, • Conduct structured monthly performance reviews, • Manage cost control, WIP, debt and operational outputs, • Align operational and financial processes to strategic objectives, • Build and maintain strong client and stakeholder relationships, • Champion a customer-first culture across all activities, • Lead, mentor and develop a team of up to 200 staff ✔ Proven experience delivering large-scale housing repairs and maintenance contracts ✔ Minimum 2 years’ experience in a senior managerial role within the social housing sector (local authorities/property services) ✔ Strong leadership, mentoring and people development skills ✔ Commercially astute with experience managing P&L responsibility ✔ Excellent organisational and time management capabilities ✔ Ability to analyse performance data and drive informed decision-making ✔ Strong communication skills with the ability to engage diverse teams and stake INDWHITE
