We’re looking for an Operations Area Manager to help us bring the heart of Colombia to the streets of London. Location: London-based The Vibe: Beyond the Bean Hermanos isn't just a coffee shop or a roaster; we are a celebration of Colombian culture, craft, and community. Founded by Victor, Santiago, and Adnan, we are a specialty roaster on a mission to bring the warmth and vibrance of Colombia to London—and beyond. We act as a bridge between Colombia’s rich coffee traditions and modern specialty culture, celebrating the craftsmanship of our farmers while delivering an authentic, high-end experience to every guest in our coffee shops. We don’t just buy coffee; we work directly with the farmers who grow it. For us, it’s about honouring the heritage of the land while pushing the boundaries of what a modern coffee brand can be. This commitment enabled us to win the awards for the Best Independent Coffee Shop and also the Best Multi-Site Operator (10-50 locations) at the London Coffee Festival in 2025. We are currently in a high-growth phase— widening our footprint and scaling production. We’re looking for a sharp, sales-driven Area Managers to lead our sites and help us build something iconic. Hermanos is growing. Fast. 🚀 With 10 sites across London—from Portobello Road to King’s Cross to Stratford — we are on a mission to share the vibrance of Colombian coffee culture with the world. But we aren't just scaling; we’re elevating. We need an Area Manager who is part operations strategist, part specialty coffee obsessive, and a total people person. What you’ll be doing: ✅ Leading the Frontline: Coaching our Site Managers to build world-class teams. ✅ Driving the Numbers: Taking full ownership of P&L, labor costs, and commercial growth. ✅ Guiding the Brand: Ensuring every "bean-to-cup" experience is as iconic as the coffee itself. ✅ Scaling the Vision: Working directly with our founders to streamline operations as we expand. Your Mission You will lead our Shop Managers to deliver "bean-to-cup" excellence across London. Your goal is to balance the soul of a specialty coffee brand with the precision of a high-growth business. 1. People & Culture • Lead & Coach: Mentor Shop Managers to unlock their full potential and build a solid talent pipeline for our expansion., • Culture Champion: Foster a friendly, collaborative "Hermanos" environment where team successes are celebrated., • Excellence in Craft: Ensure every barista is an expert in Colombian coffee, brewing methods, and premium service standards. 2. Operational & Financial Mastery • Drive Performance: Build forecasts and manage budgets (Sales, Labour, COS, GP) to exceed financial targets., • Scale Smarter: Identify cost efficiencies and process improvements that can be rolled out across the entire business., • Compliance: Ensure every site runs like a clock, adhering to all legal and safety regulations. 3. Brand & Innovation • Brand Guardian: Maintain impeccable shop aesthetics and ensure our "tone of voice" is consistent everywhere., • Feedback Loop: Use customer insights to help us develop new products and challenge the status quo. What You Bring • The Experience: A proven track record in F&B retail management, specifically in managing multi-site shop operations, driving excellence and growth., • The Mindset: Entrepreneurial spirit. You don't just follow a rhythm; you set it., • Availability: You are London based and to keep things moving, you will be required to work weekends as part of your normal working week., • The Skillset: You are data-oriented, a multitasker, and a clear communicator who can present insights directly to the Directors., • The Passion: A genuine interest in the relationship between the UK coffee industry and the customers/communities we serve.
