    Chef – Three Wise Monkeys, Colchester Part‑time or Full-time | Competitive Pay | Immediate Start Available About Us Three Wise Monkeys is a vibrant, multi‑level venue located in the heart of Colchester. Known for our craft beer, in‑house brewery, and smoked food menu, we are passionate about creating dishes that pair perfectly with the beers we produce. We are now seeking talented and motivated chefs to join our growing kitchen team. The Role We are looking for chefs at various levels who are committed to delivering high‑quality food in a fast‑paced environment. You will work closely with the Food Service Manager and kitchen team to prepare, cook, and present dishes to a consistently high standard. Key Responsibilities • Prepare, cook, and present menu items to specification, • Maintain high standards of food quality, flavour, and presentation, • Support the delivery of our smoked food offering and beer‑led menu concepts, • Ensure all food is stored, prepared, and served safely in line with food hygiene standards, • Assist with stock control, rotation, and wastage reduction, • Contribute to menu development and specials when required, • Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment, • Work collaboratively with the kitchen team and front of house team to ensure smooth service, • Follow company policies, procedures, and kitchen systems What We’re Looking For • Previous experience in a professional kitchen (smoked food experience beneficial but not essential), • A positive, proactive work attitude and willingness to learn, • Strong communication and teamwork skills, • Ability to work efficiently under pressure, • Good understanding of food safety and hygiene standards, • Passion for great food and an interest in craft beer What We Offer • Competitive pay based on experience, • Opportunities for progression within a growing hospitality group, • Training and development, including exposure to smoked food techniques, • Staff discounts across our venues, • A supportive, energetic working environment How to Apply If you’re passionate about food, eager to grow, and excited by the idea of working with craft beer and smoked flavours, we’d love to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities • Develop and implement business development strategies to achieve growth objectives., • Identify and pursue new sales opportunities across local and national markets., • Manage key client relationships and maintain a high level of customer satisfaction., • Collaborate with the marketing team to enhance digital presence and promotional activities., • Analyze market trends and competitor activity to inform strategic decision-making., • Prepare sales reports, forecasts, and performance metrics for senior management., • Represent the company at events, networking functions, and industry forums. Experience • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in business development, sales, or a related role, ideally within the automotive, retail, or service sectors., • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and delivering growth., • Experience in managing client relationships and working with cross-functional teams. Education • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
