We are seeking an experienced and motivated Commercial Property Paralegal to join our busy and well-established law firm based in Colchester. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a supportive commercial property team handling a broad range of high-quality matters for local and national clients. You will play a key role in supporting fee earners on a varied caseload of commercial property transactions, with genuine opportunities for progression and development. Key Responsibilities • Assisting with sales and acquisitions of commercial freehold and leasehold properties, • Drafting and reviewing leases, licences to assign, rent deposit deeds, and other transactional documents, • Preparing contract packs and supporting due diligence processes, • Conducting and reviewing property searches, • Managing Land Registry applications and SDLT submissions, • Liaising with clients, agents, lenders, and other solicitors, • Previous experience as a Commercial Property Paralegal (minimum 1 year preferred), • Strong understanding of commercial conveyancing procedures, • Excellent drafting and organisational skills, • Ability to manage multiple transactions and meet deadlines, • Confident communicator with a client-focused approach, • Proficient in case management systems and Microsoft Office
