A reputable criminal defence law firm is looking to recruit a Criminal Paralegal to support its busy and well-established Criminal Law team. This is an excellent opportunity for a Criminal Paralegal or law graduate with criminal law experience who is looking to develop a long-term career within criminal defence. \n The RoleYou will be working closely with solicitors on a wide range of criminal matters, supporting cases from initial instruction through to trial and post-hearing work. \n Key Responsibilities \n\n • Assisting on criminal defence matters including police station attendance, magistrates’ court and crown court cases\n, • Preparing case files, witness statements and legal documentation\n, • Drafting correspondence and attendance notes\n, • Liaising with clients, police, CPS, courts and counsel\n, • Managing deadlines and court listings\n, • Providing a high standard of client care throughout proceedings\n\n The Ideal Candidate \n\n • Previous experience as a Criminal Paralegal or Legal Assistant\n, • Strong interest and understanding of criminal law and procedure\n, • Excellent communication and client-facing skills\n, • Highly organised with strong attention to detail\n, • Law graduates with relevant criminal law experience will be considered\n\n What’s on Offer \n\n • Competitive salary dependent on experience\n, • Supportive and hands-on team environment\n, • Exposure to a wide range of criminal defence work\n, • Clear progression opportunities within criminal law\n, • Stable role within an established private practice firm\n\n This role would suit a Criminal Paralegal seeking responsibility, hands-on experience and long-term progression within criminal defence. \n Please contact Alvin Jose for more details on
