Data & Systems Manager UK-based (with European operations) £50,000 - £70,000 + growth opportunity + benefits The Opportunity We are seeking a Data & Systems Manager to take ownership of how data flows across an industry leading operational business with sites in the UK and Europe with ambitious expansion plans. This is a unique opportunity to build and shape a data and systems function from the ground up designing processes, implementing tools, and enabling better decision-making across the organisation. Key Responsibilities Data & Systems Ownership * Own and manage operational data systems across the business * Work with existing tools including Device Magic, Excel, and internal client-facing platforms * Act as the central point of contact for data, systems, and process improvement across internal stakeholders and key clients. Process & Data Capture Design * Map and optimise end-to-end operational workflows: o Order → collection → unloading → processing → reporting * Standardise and digitise data capture, reducing manual processes and duplication * Ensure accurate, consistent data capture across multiple sites Traceability & Operational Visibility * Design and implement a robust traceability system for materials and workflows * Introduce solutions such as barcoding and/or RFID where appropriate * Improve transparency and control across multi-site operations Reporting & Business Intelligence * Develop dashboards and reporting using tools such as Microsoft Power BI or similar * Deliver insights into operational performance, volumes, and commercial metrics * Support data-driven decision-making across the business Systems Development & Integration * Improve and evolve internal systems and client-facing platforms * Identify and implement new technologies (e.g. automation, AI tools where relevant) * Work with third-party providers or lead system improvements directly Scalability & Growth * Build systems that support expansion into new European markets * Standardise processes across multiple locations * Lay the foundation for a scalable data and systems capability About You * Experience in a data management, implantation and systems * Strong Excel and data structuring skills * Experience with Power BI or similar BI tools * Comfortable working with operational or logistics-related data * Able to design and improve processes, not just maintain them Why Apply? * Opportunity to own and build a function * High level of autonomy and impact * Exposure to senior leadership and strategic initiatives * Be part of a business scaling across multiple regions * Strong salary with long-term growth potential

A proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and take initiative. Good attention to detail and accuracy when handling financial information. Basic IT skills, including Microsoft Excel and other computer systems. Ability to work to deadlines and remain professional under pressure.
