About the role We are looking for a reliable and caring Domestic Assistant to join our team at MHA. This is an important role, helping to create a clean, safe and welcoming environment where residents feel comfortable, respected and at home. As a Domestic Assistant, you will be responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness across designated areas of the home, while always respecting residents’ privacy, dignity and individual needs. Your work will play a vital part in supporting wellbeing and infection prevention. What you will do • Maintain cleanliness and general tidiness of residents’ rooms, bathrooms, offices and communal areas., • Carry out cleaning tasks in line with schedules, including carpet cleaning where required., • Respect residents’ privacy, dignity and personal space at all times., • Use and store cleaning equipment and materials safely and correctly, in line with COSHH requirements., • Report any faulty equipment, hazards or damage promptly to a senior colleague., • Attend training, staff meetings, supervisions and appraisals as required. To offer you the right level of development, we’ll look for you to attend site as and when required, this will give hands on experience where you’ll be involved with preparing for, attending, and contributing to site workshops, design team meetings, and client meetings. This role requires an individual who holds or is working towards an NVQ Level 4 qualification (or equivalent) in a related discipline. You’ll need to demonstrate the ability to make confident decisions based on sound reasoning and rational as well as the ability to challenge constructively and articulate a point of view in relation to designs. A good working knowledge of MS Word and Excel along with an intermediate knowledge of AutoCAD design software and Adobe Acrobat is essential. A leading residential developer in the UK is seeking an Assistant Design Manager to join their Chester office. The role involves assisting with design information and schedule production, alongside valuable exposure to prestigious developments.

The Company: We are working with a market leading contractor whose North West Regional Office has created an excellent reputation for delivering interesting projects for leading blue-chip clients. They have excellent relationships with their clients that means they enjoy a good proportion of repeat, negotiated business. The Role: They are keen to add an Intermediate Quantity Surveyor to their team to work on an healthcare project due onsite shortly. You will initially support the Senior QS on projects with the plan fo ryou to take on your own smaller value schemes and there is a clear path for progression to Project QS for you. General responsibilities will include; Assisting with commercial and contractual requirements on the designated projects in accordance with the company procedures and processes. Helping to ensure sound financial performance including profitability, cash flow, and managing risks and opportunities. Help with the preparation of accurate and detailed monthly cost reports. Assisting with the application of Main Contract and Sub-Contract Forms and Standard Method of Measurement. Helping to prepare and agree Monthly Valuations, including valuing variations and forecast final accounts. Help with the appointment of Subcontractors in accordance with Company Procedures, including procurement and account management including valuations, payment notices and agreement of final accounts. Assisting to maintain close working relationship with the client and design team to assist in the success of the projects. You: You will have experience of working on building schemes as an Assistant QS, Intermediate QS or similar. Very contractually aware with good knowledge of Construction Contracts. You will be able to commute to Cheshire daily and have a driving licence to be able to visit sites.
