Fractional Legal Consultant (Commercial Contracts & Strategic Advisory) UK Qualified Solicitor – Long-Term Strategic Collaboration Location: UK (Remote – Flexible Availability Required) Engagement Type: Monthly Retainer + Fixed Fee Per Matter Initial Retainer Budget: £100–£200 Project Fees: Agreed per contract / negotiation / advisory task Compensation structure to scale as business grows The Role We are seeking a UK-qualified Solicitor (England & Wales) to act as our Fractional Legal Consultant — combining strong commercial contract expertise with forward-thinking legal advisory. This role requires equal strength in: ✔ Robust contract drafting and risk elimination ✔ Strategic business and structural advisory Core Responsibilities 1. Commercial Contracts (Primary Focus) • Drafting, reviewing, and refining:, • Client service agreements, • Consultancy contracts, • Freelance agreements, • Collaboration agreements, • NDAs, • Identifying and eliminating loopholes, • Ensuring enforceability, clarity, and commercial alignment, • Strengthening liability, indemnity, IP ownership, and termination provisions, • Advising on appropriate contract structures depending on risk profile 2. Business & Structural Advisory • Advising on UK company structures and entity formation, • Guidance on whether to operate under one company or establish separate linked entities, • Liability structuring and risk mitigation, • Director duties and exposure considerations, • Insurance and compliance guidance 3. Intellectual Property & Growth Protection • Advising on trademark and IP protection strategy, • Providing guidance on patent considerations (or referring to specialists where appropriate), • Ensuring contracts clearly protect ownership and usage rights, • Future-proofing agreements for scale Working Style & Communication As a neurodivergent-led business, communication style is extremely important.
