Role reports to: Senior Marketing Director Location: Europe/Middle East/Africa, United Kingdom, Reading, Berkshire Work Location: Hybrid What you will do Essential Health Director, Northern Europe (12-Month Fixed-Term Contract) Location: Reading (Hybrid working policy) Contract: 12-month fixed-term maternity cover Start date: 1 October 2026 We are looking for an experienced Director to lead our Essential Health portfolio across Northern Europe on a 12-month fixed-term contract to cover maternity leave, starting 1 October 2026. Reporting to the Head of Marketing, Northern Europe, this is a high-impact leadership role with responsibility for business growth, strategic delivery, and people leadership across the region. You will lead a team of marketers and people managers, while working closely with regional and global partners to drive growth, innovation, and execution excellence. This role is critical in ensuring continuity of leadership and delivery across the Essential Health portfolio during an important period for the business. It is an excellent opportunity for a proven marketing leader to step into a visible regional role and make an immediate impact in a dynamic, purpose-led organisation. • Lead and grow Kenvue’s Essential Health portfolio across the UK, Ireland, and Nordics, including brands such as Listerine, Johnson’s Baby, Aveeno Baby, o.b. and Carefree., • Own full P&L accountability, shape the 3-Year Operating Plan, and translate strategy into strong execution and sustainable growth., • Represent Northern Europe in partnership with Global Brand Development Teams, bringing local market insight to shape strategy, innovation, and communication., • Partner closely with regional deployment and cross-functional teams to align business priorities, activation plans, and innovation opportunities that drive growth., • Work across Brand Activation, Customer Development, HCP, Media, RGM, Finance, and other key functions to ensure excellence in execution., • Use data, insights, and performance analysis to identify commercial opportunities and guide decision-making., • Build an inclusive, high-performing culture by developing talent, coaching leaders, and strengthening team engagement., • Contribute to the Marketing Leadership Team by shaping strategy, improving ways of working, and driving broader business impact., • Proven experience at Director level, or as a high-performing Senior Marketing Manager ready for the next step, with a strong track record of business results., • Strong people leadership experience, with the ability to develop talent, lead through others, and build inclusive, high-performing teams., • Commercial acumen, including P&L ownership and strategic planning experience., • Strong experience in the UK market is essential., • Experience leading across complex, cross-functional organisations, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders and global partners., • Strong background in brand strategy, content development, media strategy, and data-driven marketing., • Experience in Consumer Health, Personal Care, or adjacent categories is preferred., • A growth mindset, resilience, and the ability to lead through change with clarity and impact.
