You will be based at our Worsley Head Office Depot and be an integral part of our Water Rehabilitation contract responsible for Managing the end-to-end process for all Civils activities, working with your team and closely working with the Contract Manager to meet the needs of the client in the most cost-effective manner and making a profit for Network Plus. The Operational Safety Lead - Water Utilities provides specialist health, safety, environmental and quality support across capital delivery projects within the UK water sector. As an experienced Traffic Management Operative, you will be required to work on Traffic Management Schemes for a range of projects, helping them to run smoothly and efficiently to achieve maximum production in a working day, whilst maintaining a high Health and Safety standard. Role Overview - Programme Director The role of Programme Director will be permanently located in East Africa. You as an individual will have previous experience of working in the Africa's or Middle East region and either already live in; or be willing to relocate to country for the duration of the project. The role is an extremely "hands-on" position where you will have overall management of SRT in-country teams. Here you will be instrumental in the management and execution of significant complex projects that involve the building of infrastructure such as data centres, control rooms, communication towers and commercial buildings, along with the installation of complex electrical systems that include power systems and sensitive communication equipment across anumber of our projects in the East Africa region. The role is to understand, plan and manage the required process to complete the projects and to co-ordinate and actively manage the multiple contractors, and SRT's own resources and logistics to successfully complete each site and ultimately the whole project. This is a role where you will already have extensive Civil Engineering / Construction experience at Senior Manager or Director level, and be an established leader in industry. You as our Programme Director will be able to demonstrate a track record of managing and delivering similar projects in non-Western countries. You will be highly organised and able to see the "big picture" whilst also being able to identify and manage critical path project streams effectively and efficiently.
