About The Role As Senior Store Design Manager for Charlotte Tilbury Travel Retail, you will lead the Store Design team to deliver permanent counter builds across all TR UK & EMEA retailers, including design, technical approvals, budget management, implementation and post-launch support for snagging resolution. You will work closely with our Global SD team and in-team commercial, retail and finance teams to ensure all projects are delivered on brand, on time and within budget. You’ll work closely with all areas of the label and artist management to identify, manage design briefs & outputs, produce and develop profitable merchandise collection ranges and deliver eCommerce product and marketing strategies that grow revenue across a diverse roster of eCommerce stores. The Vice President, Customer Solutions Advisory, Sports is a strategic and technical leader responsible for driving Vizrt's global sports solution advisory organization. This role oversees the global team focused on sports pre-sales, ensuring alignment with Vizrt's sports strategy and solution portfolio including Viz Libero, Viz Arena, Viz Engine, data workflows, AR/XR, and cloud-enabled sports production. Job Summary: Company: Festival Republic Location: Farringdon London and considerable time onsite during the summer festival season (around 4 weeks per show) Reports to: Event Manager Contract Type: 12 Months Fixed Term Contract Working Hours: Monday to Friday 10am 6pm with extra weekend working throughout the festival season as required. Work onsite required throughout the summer. Onsite hours are 8am 8pm. Role Description The Licensing Co-ordinator (also referred to as Operations Coordinator/Licensing Compliance) is a key part of the planning team for their events. The main aim of the role is to be involved with the operational planning of the event ensure compliance with the licence and Event Management Plan and ensure strong agency liaison for Latitude Festival whilst also being involved with other Festival Republic shows throughout the summer. Who you are You may have previous experience in the following roles: event coordination; project administration or management; local authority licensing department; licence compliance; health and safety Competencies / Skills / Knowledge / Experience Essential • Exceptional organisational and administrative skills, • Detailed work, • Joined up thinking, • Ability to prioritise and meet deadlines, • Working under pressure / in a pressurized environment Desirable • Demonstrable experience and knowledge of events, • Experience working with the local authority and agencies, • Excellent IT skills Behaviours • Excellent communication skills, • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy, • Exceptional organisational and administrative skills with the ability to prioritise, • Level-headedness, • Joined up thinking and analytical skills, • Proactive approach to problem solving What the role includes • Assisting the Event Manager as delegated to achieve the planning of the event in relation to welfare campsite stewards arena stewards key staff (zone managers campsite managers etc) traffic / parking team traffic co-ordinator road signage information team lost property / left luggage / confiscations (if required) lost children team water safety team noise consultants noise at work team alcohol compliance team (if required) gas safety inspectors structural engineers pyro consultant (if required) CCTV (in conjunction with Production) food safety / EHO teams mystery shoppers and misc welfare teams ie Samaritans Salvation Army table top facilitator etc plus negotiating and ordering the onsite requirements for all of the above, • Assisting the Event Manager as delegated to achieve the final details of the planning of the event in relation to security security co-ordinators eviction team medical team fire team. These deals will be done in the first instance by the Head of Health and Safety and Security., • Writing and updating the Event Management Plan and associated appendices along with other key submitted documents in conjunction with the Event Manager, • The compliance of the event with all licensing and legal obligations as well as all other commitments made in the Event Management Plan and associated appendices along with other key submitted documents action points from agency meetings etc, • Strong liaison with statutory and non-statutory local agencies (e.g. police fire ambulance service landowner environmental health licensing building control emergency planning planning and Highways Agency where required) in conjunction with the Event Manager to include attendance at Safety Advisory Group meetings and individual meetings with agencies as required and regular updates by email / phone, • The implementation of policies in conjunction with the Event Manager and the rest of the team, • Keeping abreast of licensing developments and other relevant legislation and guidance and implementing as required, • Ensuring contractor and staff compliance with licensing conditions policies and other commitments made by making their compliance part of the condition of contract with them and by then monitoring auditing and managing throughout, • Regular liaison with and progress reports to the Event Manager, • Applying for traffic regulation orders footpath closures and other orders as required, • Organising and taking minutes for meetings as required or delegating as required to the Production & Licensing Assistant, • Following up on all action points from debriefs agency meetings internal meetings and so on, • Ensuring compliance with disability legislation and liaising with disabled access co-ordinator (or equivalent) to ensure all briefings / infrastructure organised, • Collating and booking the requirements for all licensing contractors and services, • Traffic and transport planning and implementation will normally be covered by an external company or Traffic Coordinator but some tasks may need to fall to the Event Manager and therefore the Licensing Co-ordinator particularly in relation to onsite traffic parking etc, • Negotiating and agreeing best prices for each contract using agreed rates under group buying deals where applicable raising purchase orders and liaising with accounts over payment schedules. Keeping track of whether all purchase orders have come back signed, • Sending out confirmation letters purchase orders and relevant Health & Safety paperwork and ensuring that any additional documentation required as a condition of contract is included, • Organising CRB / PNC checks if required, • Ensuring all bar / trader / sponsor concessions onsite are run according to the DPS contract and relevant legislation / terms of trading, • In conjunction with the Event Manager liaison with local residents via the Parish Councils and direct in the case of neighbours to include the administration of reduced price residents tickets, • In conjunction with the Event Manager PPL licence application and gathering of PRS information if required, • In conjunction with the Event Manager submitting films to the local authority for classification as required and ensuring compliance, • The recruitment of licensing office staff as required and management of team on site, • Assisting with budget preparation and updating on an on-going basis as delegated, • Preparing and updating contact list and production schedule throughout and feeding into main version held by Production Co-ordinator, • Maintaining up to date guest ticket database, • Investigating and managing complaints post festival, • Collecting and collating all debriefs post festival, • Preparation of a debrief report on improvements for the following year, • Organising planning meeting with Melvin Benn to consider key points from all debriefs for following year, • Achieving tasks targets and deadlines outlined as part of the event timeline, • Ad hoc tasks as required Extra responsibilities during the event onsite • Managing the Latitude Festival Licensing Office, • Liaison with all contractors and organisations on behalf of Latitude Festival, • Organisation of Table Top Exercise, • Chairing onsite SAG/agency meetings, • Live dealing with Complaints / Feedback if relevant, • On Site Audit, • Ad hoc tasks as required Equal Opportunities We are passionate and committed to our people and go beyond the rhetoric of diversity and inclusion. The position will collaborate with the EU markets to ensure resources are optimized to support local and regional market demands. This is a fast paced high-volume position that requires tenured PD & sourcing experience for many different product categories including Apparel Hardline and Softline Accessories. The ability to establish partner relationships with the current vendor base and to source new suppliers is critical for the role. Focusing on competitive pricing new ideation quick turn times quality control and on time deliveries is key. The Director Product Development & Sourcing is responsible for establishing developing and directing the PD strategy for merchandise and accessories and effectively directing the business relationships with finished product suppliers. Principal Responsibilities & Specific Duties * Front facing position working closely with Brand Management and Label Partners. * Develop/source new and existing fabric trims washes/dyes vendors for all upcoming development. * Develop and maintain libraries for fabric and wash developments. * Leverage trade tools to stay updated with trends. Foresee new productopportunities. Identify new factories or expand facilities of existing factory base in thegrowing countries. * Direct the Technical Design Team and Creative Team to ensure complete technical package is done to initiate development. * Initiate time and action activity alongside cross-functional teams as well as Artist Management to remain on schedule. * Management of pre-production/development timelines reviewing reports and recommending solutions to exceptions. * Manage all details regarding the development process managing the sampling submits. Be responsible for effectively communicating all design comments to vendors to ensure product meets expectation. Work alongside Technical Design to ensure proper FIT comments are sent. * Work collaboratively with the Brand Management and Creative Teams to develop a final assortment that is executable in production. * Negotiate and cost engineer products with vendors across multiple programs and communicate needs to the design team to ensure product is being built around retail price point targets and margin requirements. * Manage overall pricing and P&L analysis along with Finance to ensure margin targets are met for new products and category introductions. * Initiate weekly development touch bases with cross-functional meetings for potential order issues as appropriate. * Develop and manage process workflow improvements. * Work alongside Production counterparts to ensure products being developed align with deadlines in mind to ensure seamless transition of production scheduling and output. * Manage suppliers product integrity and order specification compliance details including dye lots wash effect hand feel and shade bands. Provide risk assessment analysis based on complexity of design. * Work alongside the Compliance team to ensure new products developed meets global requirements. * Handle all eCommerce product set up details and work with the Store Management Team for product details inclusive of fabrication SKUs and overall design details that are necessary for marketing and product descriptions. * Work alongside Tour team to ensure all product details and costing is supplied. * Liaise with suppliers to provide technical advice and give direction for problem solving. Manage fabric or blank selection process confirm fabric and trim materials are available for prototype development via direct communications with suppliers. * Manage liability of raw material supplies to ensure it can be utilized in product that can be sold and minimize financial exposure. Work with Design Team to create future designs to utilize the excess raw materials. * Attend Concept Design Review and Selection meetings to understand upcoming styles to work with the appropriate vendors to create the product. * Promote collaboration communication and teamwork within the brand between Merchandising Product Development Production Creative and Tour Merchandising. * Lead and Manage a PD team and collaborate on process improvements with both US team and Cross functional teams. * Ability to travel. Skills and Requirements * Solid experience in Apparel and Accessories Production and/or Product Development Production/Buying/Sourcing experience. * Diverse market segment background (mens juniors and childrens wear accessories). * Strong costing and product engineering skills. * Established vendor base and relationships for apparel (cut and sew knits sleepwear and loungewear) and accessories. * Detail oriented with strong follow through skills. * Extensive technical knowledge of raw materials garment constructions wash and print processes. * Microsoft Suite and Adobe proficiencies (Word Excel PowerPoint Illustrator). * Ability to work in a demanding fast-paced environment. * Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills. * Excellent communicator with the ability to build and maintain relationships. * Flexible and adaptable; priorities change frequently based on business demands the ability to change direction quickly is critical. * Strong long-term strategic planning capability. * Experience ingesting requirements and adapting workflows to accommodate those requirements. * Music Merch Production experience a plus. * Bachelors degree (US or foreign equivalent) in Product Development Textile Science Fashion Design or Sourcing. * Extensive factory manufacturing process experience including production timeline management fact-based costing and pricing. * Excellent written verbal communication and presentation skills. * Detail oriented but capable of developing and executing strategies as well. * Strong negotiation skills. * Proven ability to manage and develop teams. * Works well under pressure.
