The role Processing end-to-end payroll for over 2,000 employees in line with HMRC legislation and company policies Managing starters, leavers, salary changes, and contractual updates in collaboration with HR Handling statutory payments including SSP, SMP, SPP and pensions auto-enrolment Responding to payroll queries with professionalism, discretion, and empathy Maintaining accurate payroll records and ensuring data confidentiality Producing payroll reports and supporting finance and management requirements Assisting with year-end activities such as P60s, P11Ds, and reconciliations Contributing to continuous improvement of payroll processes and team best practice What we're looking for Experience of end-to-end payroll in a medium to large organisation Strong knowledge of UK payroll legislation, tax, NI, statutory payments, and pensions Experience using payroll systems and confidence working with Excel Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail A professional, discreet approach to handling sensitive information A team-focused mindset and willingness to share knowledge What's on offer Salary of £30,000 - £34,000 Opportunity for a temporary role to become permanent Supportive and inclusive team environment Flexible working opportunities Generous pension contributions Free on-site parking Access to an on-site gym Ongoing training and development opportunities Why join?
