Location: On-site (Full-Time) Institution Type: Vocational College We will only consider applicants with proven experience in Further Education/Vocational Training, Internal Quality Assurance, and Awarding-Body Compliance About the Role We are seeking an experienced and highly organised Quality Assurance Manager to lead, develop, and maintain high standards in teaching, learning, assessment, and internal quality processes across our vocational programmes. This is a full-time on-campus role, requiring a hands-on professional who can ensure compliance with awarding body requirements and support continuous improvement across the organisation. Key Responsibilities • Lead the design, implementation, and monitoring of the college’s Quality Assurance Framework., • Ensure full compliance with awarding organisation standards (e.g., OTHM, TQUK, Qualifi, ATHE)., • Coordinate Internal Quality Assurance (IQA) activities, standardisation meetings, and sampling plans., • Oversee quality checks on assessments, feedback, teaching materials, and record-keeping., • Monitor learner progress, retention, success, and overall performance outcomes., • Conduct internal audits, prepare quality reports, and support external quality assurance visits., • Provide training and support to tutors, assessors, and delivery teams to maintain high teaching and assessment standards., • Review policies, procedures, and documentation related to quality, compliance, and curriculum delivery., • Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance learner experience and organisational effectiveness., • Work collaboratively with senior leadership on strategic planning and regulatory compliance. Essential Requirements • Minimum Level 5 qualification (Level 6+ desirable)., • Assessor and IQA qualifications (e.g., TAQA, CAVA, IQA Award/Certificate)., • Experience in quality assurance within a vocational or FE setting., • Strong understanding of awarding body regulations and compliance processes., • Excellent organisational, auditing, and reporting skills., • Ability to lead meetings, deliver training, and support academic teams., • High attention to detail and ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
