The Opportunity: \n An exciting opportunity has arisen for a commercially focused Group FP&A Manager to join ZyroFisher in Darlington. Reporting directly to the CFO, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping financial strategy, driving performance insight and supporting decision-making across a growing, private equity-backed international business. With ambitious growth plans, transformation projects and board-level exposure, this is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced FP&A professional looking to make a genuine impact. \n Main Duties/Responsibilities: \n\n • Lead the Group budgeting, forecasting and long-range planning processes.\n, • Develop and maintain robust financial models, forecasts and scenario analyses.\n, • Produce weekly, monthly and quarterly performance reporting for senior leadership and board stakeholders.\n, • Partner with operational and commercial teams to provide meaningful financial insight and challenge.\n, • Deliver commercial analysis to support strategic decision-making and business growth initiatives.\n, • Support board reporting, investor requirements and wider value creation activities.\n, • Identify opportunities to improve profitability, efficiency and business performance.\n, • Drive continuous improvement across FP&A processes, systems and reporting.\n, • Support the implementation of Sage X3 and wider finance transformation initiatives.\n, • Manage and develop the Group FP&A Analyst.\n\n You Will Be/Have: \n\n • Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).\n, • Strong FP&A, budgeting and forecasting experience within a commercial environment.\n, • Proven ability to influence and challenge senior stakeholders.\n, • Advanced Excel and financial modelling skills.\n, • Experience producing management, board or investor reporting.\n, • Strong commercial acumen with the ability to translate data into actionable insight.\n, • Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, evolving business environment.\n, • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.\n, • Experience within a private equity-backed, multi-site, international, distribution, retail or manufacturing environment would be advantageous.\n, • Exposure to ERP implementation, business transformation or systems improvement projects would be beneficial.\n\n Benefits: \n\n • Salary of £70,000-£75,000.\n, • Hybrid working model (3 days office / 2 days home).\n, • Flexible working arrangements.\n, • Healthcare benefits.\n, • Cycle to Work scheme.\n, • Employee discounts.\n, • Holiday buy and sell scheme.\n, • Pension scheme.\n, • Salary sacrifice benefits.\n, • Volunteering day.\n, • Genuine exposure to board-level decision-making and strategic projects.\n, • Opportunity to play a key role in a growing, PE-backed international business.\n
