We're hiring | Senior Salesforce Developer - Product Engineering Team (ISV) in Winnersh (Reading area), UK | Hybrid (3 days onsite) Sage People is a global HR & people management SaaS product built on the Salesforce ( Force.com ) platform, serving customers worldwide. We're looking for a senior hands-on Salesforce engineer who can go beyond feature delivery: someone able to understand business complexity, shape technical design, contribute to architecture decisions, and help build scalable, maintainable solutions within a mature Salesforce product environment. You will work hands-on with Apex, SOQL, JavaScript, Salesforce Lightning, Lightning Web Components, VisualForce and APIs, while helping define robust technical approaches for scalable product features. • Design, develop and maintain enterprise-grade Salesforce product features with a strong focus on scalability, maintainability and performance, • Translate complex business requirements into clear technical designs and robust implementation plans, • Contribute actively to Salesforce architecture discussions, design reviews and long-term product decisions, • Apply strong object-oriented design principles, automated testing practices, code quality standards and CI/CD ways of working, • Mentor and support other engineers through code reviews, technical guidance and knowledge sharing This is a senior hands-on development role with genuine technical depth. It is not an admin or configuration-focused position: we are looking for someone who enjoys building, designing and improving complex Salesforce product capabilities.
