About the role: The Junior Data Analyst will play a key role in supporting the FP&A team by providing high‑quality data analysis, reporting and insights to help drive informed decision‑making across the business. The role involves hands‑on work with data, including using SQL to extract, transform and analyse datasets from multiple systems, building and maintaining Power BI reports and ensuring data is structured, accurate and suitable for analytical use. Operating in a fast-paced environment, the role offers exposure to senior stakeholders, evolving commercial priorities and value‑creation initiatives. This role suits someone with strong technical curiosity who enjoys solving problems through data, tooling and experimentation. Key responsibilities include: Data Management & Analysis • Write and maintain SQL queries to extract, transform and analyse data from multiple internal systems, • Build and maintain structured data models to support reliable reporting and downstream analysis, • Perform trend, variance, and root‑cause analysis to identify drivers of performance and emerging risks or opportunities Reporting & Business Insights • Support creation and ongoing maintenance of performance dashboards, • Develop automated reports and visualisations that improve reporting efficiency and insight quality, • Provide ad‑hoc analysis across KPIs to support operational and commercial decision making FP&A Support • Assist with budgeting and forecasting and periodic re-forecasts, • Maintain and update financial models to support planning and performance tracking, • Support scenario and sensitivity analysis to assess the financial impact of key assumptions and business decisions, • Help validate and translate Finance team requirements to Business Systems team Process Improvement • Identify opportunities to improve reporting efficiency and data quality, • Standardise data definitions and templates to ensure consistency, • Support the implementation of new analytics tools and processes We're looking for: • A relevant degree (or equivalent) in data, analytics, mathematics, economics, finance or a related field, • A strong analytical mindset, with proficiency in Excel and experience SQL or Python to interpret and work confidently with datasets, • Proactive and curious, with a naturally inquisitive approach to data and a commercial mindset that helps translate analysis into meaningful business insight, • Highly organised and detail‑focused, with the ability to prioritise effectively and work accurately while handling multiple requests, • A collaborative team player, comfortable working closely with colleagues across FP&A, Finance and the wider business Desirable experience: • Experience using BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Qlik or QuickSight, alongside exposure to FP&A or financial reporting, • Experience working in a high‑growth or fast‑moving environment In addition to a competitive salary, our benefits package is second to none.
