Fire & Security Installation Engineer North West & North East Coverage £40,000 – £50,000 DOE + Overtime + Training + Progression Permanent | 40 Hours (8am – 5pm) Are you a Fire & Security Installation Engineer looking for a role with consistent work, proper support and real progression? I’m currently working with a growing, nationally recognised business that is expanding its installation teams across the North West and North East. Why This Role Stands Out • £40,000 – £50,000 basic salary (DOE), • Overtime available, • No call-out rota for install engineers, • Company vehicle, fuel card, tools & tech provided, • 25 days holiday + bank holidays, • Ongoing FIA & manufacturer training, • Clear progression pathways into senior or multi-discipline roles, • Work on well-managed, structured projects The Role You’ll be installing and commissioning fire and electronic security systems across a regional patch, working on a variety of commercial and public sector projects. This is a hands-on installation role where quality, attention to detail and professionalism are key. Your day-to-day will include: • Installation of fire alarm systems (addressable & conventional), • Installing CCTV (IP & analogue), access control and intruder systems, • Working on emergency lighting systems, • Wiring, terminating and configuring systems, • Commissioning systems and completing handovers, • Producing accurate documentation including test results and reports, • Working from drawings and coordinating with site teams, • Fault finding and resolving issues where required Travel & Hours • 40 hours per week (8am – 5pm), • First 30 mins each way unpaid, rest paid, • Regional travel across the North West & North East What You’ll Need • Installation experience across fire & security systems, • Experience in at least three of the following: Fire Alarms CCTV Access Control Intruder Alarms Emergency Lighting, • Ability to work from drawings and specifications, • Strong attention to detail and workmanship, • Electrical experience, • Full UK driving licence Desirable: • FIA qualifications, • ECS / CSCS / IPAF / PASMA The Opportunity This is a chance to join a business that is growing fast and investing heavily in its engineers.
