Job Overview We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Food Packer / Meal Prep Assistant to support our meal prep operation. This role is responsible for accurately weighing, packing, and labeling meals according to invoices and macro requirements, while maintaining the highest standards of food safety and hygiene. Key Responsibilities Accurately weigh food portions according to meal specifications and macro targets Pack meals correctly based on customer invoices and order lists Ensure macronutrient accuracy (protein, carbs, fats) for each portion Prevent cross-contamination by following strict food safety procedures Use separate utensils, containers, and surfaces where required Label meals correctly with meal name, date, and dietary information Maintain a clean and organised workstation at all times Follow hygiene standards including glove use, hand washing, and sanitising Report any inconsistencies in portion sizes, ingredients, or stock Assist with basic kitchen prep and packing duties when required Food Safety & Hygiene Requirements Follow all food hygiene and health & safety regulations No cross-contamination between allergens, proteins, or meal types Correct storage of food items before and after packing Maintain temperature control for hot and cold foods Immediate clean-down of spills and work surfaces
