We're looking for a Network Strategy Analyst to join our team and play a key role in shaping the future of our supply chain network. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with strong analytical capabilities who enjoys turning complex data into meaningful insights that drive strategic decisions. You'll help ensure our network is designed to support business growth, maximise operational efficiency and deliver an outstanding customer experience.Working across warehousing, transport and fulfilment operations, you'll support a range of network design and optimisation initiatives. Using data modelling, forecasting and performance analysis, you'll help evaluate current and future network requirements, identify opportunities for improvement and contribute to long-term supply chain planning. Your work will provide the evidence and insights needed to inform major strategic decisions across the business.As part of a collaborative and forward-thinking team, you'll work closely with stakeholders across multiple functions, supporting business cases, transformation projects and evaluations of new technologies and automation opportunities. This role offers an excellent opportunity to develop your strategic supply chain expertise while making a tangible impact on the future direction of our network.Supporting the development and continuous improvement of our supply chain network strategy through detailed analysis and modelling.Conducting network modelling and scenario analysis to evaluate distribution, fulfilment and transportation strategies.Analysing operational and commercial data to identify opportunities to improve network effectiveness, service and cost performance.Supporting strategic network design projects with data collection, analysis, forecasting and recommendations.Developing capacity forecasts and analysing business growth plans to support long-term planning.Monitoring network utilisation and identifying potential capacity constraints across warehouse and transport operations.Creating reports, dashboards and performance metrics that provide visibility of key network trends and performance indicators.Producing financial, operational and sensitivity analysis to support business cases and investment decisions.Supporting evaluations of automation solutions, emerging technologies and innovative fulfilment models.Collaborating with stakeholders across the business to validate assumptions and translate insights into practical recommendations.Presenting analytical findings clearly and confidently to both technical and non-technical audiences.Contributing to continuous improvement and transformation initiatives that support the future growth of the business.Experience in supply chain, logistics, network planning, business analytics or a similar analytical environment.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex datasets and identify actionable insights.Advanced Excel skills and experience using analytical tools such as Power BI, SQL or similar platforms.A good understanding of warehouse operations, transport networks and fulfilment processes.Experience building forecasts, models, business cases or scenario-based analysis.Strong attention to detail and a structured approach to analysing data and drawing conclusions.The ability to communicate complex information in a simple and engaging way to a variety of stakeholders.Confidence working across functions and building effective relationships with colleagues at all levels.A proactive mindset, with a passion for continuous improvement and finding opportunities to enhance performance.Curiosity about emerging technologies, automation and future supply chain trends.The ability to balance strategic thinking with practical recommendations that deliver business value.D&I statementDunelm is committed to becoming an inclusive business that is representative of our customers and locations.
