We are proud to have 100% of our education services rated Good or Outstanding by Ofsted! \n\n Your Role and Responsibilities\n As a Tutor, you will play a vital role in enhancing the wellbeing and learning readiness of our students. Your responsibilities will include: \n \n • Supporting the improvement of wellbeing, resilience, and behaviour management.\n, • Collaborating with the Education Team to help students overcome barriers to learning.\n, • Promoting positive learning behaviours.\n, • Leading classes during PPA and absence cover, with planning support from teaching staff.\n, • Delivering engaging enrichment activities during 'Golden Time'.\n, • Providing in-class support for academic, pastoral, emotional, or behavioural needs.\n, • Addressing immediate concerns and resolving situations effectively.\n, • Creating and compiling lesson and intervention information.\n, • Assisting in preparing information for pupil-related meetings.\n, • Acting as an advocate for the ethos of Lyttelton House School.\n, • Leading on Reading and Phonics, tracking student progress.\n, • Enhancing the role of Pupil Voice and liaising with the Senior Leadership Team.\n, • A strong educational background, with at least GCSE Grade C (or equivalent) in English Language and Mathematics.\n, • Previous experience in a similar role (e.g., HLTA).\n, • Experience working with pupils with SEMH in an educational setting.\n, • The confidence to take on additional responsibilities in specific areas (e.g., Food Hygiene, Forest School, Lunchtimes, School Yoga).\n, • Experience in behaviour management techniques.\n, • A workplace that prioritizes the emotional health and wellbeing of everyone, including you!\n, • A commitment to your professional development through a variety of opportunities.\n, • The chance to make a meaningful impact on the lives of vulnerable children who deserve high-quality teaching.\n
