Senior Business Development and Partnership Manager. About the Role We are seeking a high-calibre Senior Business Development & Partnerships Manager to accelerate growth across our clients HSE training, digital content, and wider consulting offerings. This role will take ownership of commercial relationships with existing partners, develop new business across data centres, oil & gas, and other high-risk industries, and help shape the go-to-market strategy as the business scales. You will be a trusted commercial lead comfortable engaging with senior stakeholders across global operators, EPCs, construction firms, and technical service providers while also rolling up your sleeves to execute outbound activity and close deals. Key Responsibilities Strategic Business Development • Identify, pursue, and convert new business opportunities across data centres, oil & gas, energy transition, engineering, and adjacent sectors., • Develop industry-specific go-to-market plans, pipeline targets, and sector insights to support growth., • Own and expand relationships with existing business partners, channel partners, training distributors, and industry networks., • Drive cross-selling of new content, customised training solutions, and consulting packages., • Work closely with partners to align roadmaps, co-develop offerings, and unlock new revenue streams., • Contribute to overall sales strategy, pricing models, partner frameworks, and bid processes., • Provide accurate pipeline management, forecasting, and reporting to leadership., • Support contracting, negotiation, and deal-structuring activities., • Help shape new HSE micro-learning products, compliance modules, and sector-specific pathways., • Work with delivery and SME teams to develop tailored client programmes. Essential • 5–10+ years’ experience in business development, partnerships, or commercial roles., • Strong track record of selling training, digital learning, SaaS, consulting, or technical services., • Demonstrated success building and expanding partner ecosystems., • Ability to engage senior stakeholders (HSE Directors, L&D, Ops Leadership, EPC PMs, DC build leaders, etc.)., • Excellent written, presentation, and negotiation skills., • Experience in data centres, oil & gas, energy, engineering, or industrial sectors., • Understanding of HSE, compliance frameworks, or workforce competency models., • Experience developing custom solutions or overseeing enterprise-level accounts., • Confident, credible, and comfortable operating with senior executives., • Entrepreneurial and proactive, with a “build and grow” mindset., • Highly relationship-driven, with strong follow-through., • Able to balance strategic thinking with practical execution., • Thrives in a fast-growing, dynamic, and evolving business.
