Lume Hair Studio is a welcoming, gender-neutral space built on quality, creativity and genuine client relationships. We're looking for someone with at least 4 years' experience in barbering (hairdressing experience is also a bonus), who takes pride in their work and enjoys creating a relaxed, professional experience for every client. An existing clientele is essential. Job Title: Barber Stylist / Hair System Specialist We are looking for a skilled Barber Stylist who has experience installing men’s hair systems to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who is confident with modern barbering, skin fades, scissor work, styling, consultations, and hair system fitting. You must be able to give clients a clean, natural, confidence-boosting finish. Role includes: Cutting and styling men’s hair Installing and maintaining hair replacement systems Skin fades, beard trims, scissor cuts, and finishing Client consultations and aftercare advice Keeping your work area clean and professional Delivering a high standard of customer service. Requirements: Experience as a barber or men’s stylist Experience fitting/installing hair systems Confident with blending, cutting, styling, and finishing hair systems Friendly, reliable, and professional Good communication skills with clients Able to work independently and as part of a team. Responsibilities • Carry out client consultations and recommend suitable hair extension methods., • Install, maintain and remove a range of hair extension systems, including: K-Tips Tape-Ins Micro Links/Rings Wefts/Micro Wefts Sew-Ins • Cut, blend and style extensions to create seamless results., • Carry out hair cutting, styling and colouring services where required., • Maintain high standards of cleanliness, professionalism and client care., • Build strong relationships with clients and encourage repeat business., • Create before and after content for social media where appropriate. Requirements • Qualified Hairdresser (NVQ Level 2 or equivalent)., • Proven experience fitting multiple hair extension methods., • Confident in cutting, colouring and styling hair., • Strong consultation and communication skills., • Excellent customer service and attention to detail., • A portfolio of previous work is essential.
