Early Years Educator - Babies Room (Full-Time) Our client a leading private day nursery in Horsforth Leeds is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Early Years Educator to join their team in the Baby Room. About the Role: As an Early Years Educator in the Babies Room you will play a vital role in providing a safe stimulating and nurturing environment for our youngest children. You will be responsible for: • Creating a calm and loving atmosphere that caters to the individual needs of each baby., • Providing sensitive care and support including nappy changing feeding and sleep routines., • Planning and delivering engaging activities that promote physical cognitive social and emotional development., • Observing and assessing babies progress documenting their development and maintaining accurate records., • Building strong relationships with parents and carers keeping them informed about their childs progress., • Working collaboratively with colleagues to ensure the smooth running of the room. Required Skills: Mandatory Qualifications & Experience: Hold a Level 3 qualification (or equivalent) in Childcare or Early Years Education (e.g. NVQ CACHE Diploma). Must have previous recent experience working within a formal nursery or EYFS setting in the UK. Must provide documentation demonstrating the Right to Work in the UK. Supply a minimum of 2 satisfactory professional references covering the last 2 years of employment. Compliance Essentials (Required Before Start Date): A valid Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to apply for a new one immediately) Required Education: Level 2 or 3 childcare qualification with full paediatric first aid. Or nursery assistants require a minimum of 3 months UK experience.
