This is an all year round position with overtime hours available , offering the opportunity to work within a busy hotel kitchen environment. Preparing and cooking traditional British dishes to a consistently high standard. Preparing dishes for our traditional bar food menu. Working as part of a busy kitchen team delivering buffet service and large-scale bulk catering for between 50 and 1,100 covers. Preparing and delivering high-quality plated meals for large functions and events. Ensuring food is prepared and presented in line with required standards. Maintaining excellent food hygiene and health and safety standards at all times. Ensuring all kitchen areas are kept clean, tidy and organised. Working efficiently as part of a team to meet the demands of a busy hotel kitchen. Working Days: Any 5 days out of 7, including weekends The successful candidate will be an experienced Chef de Partie with a background in busy hotel, restaurant or large-scale catering environments. You will have experience working with large numbers of covers and be confident preparing traditional British cuisine, buffet service and plated meals for functions and events. You will be organised, punctual and efficient, with excellent attention to detail and the ability to maintain high-quality standards in a fast-paced kitchen. We are an equal opportunities employer.
