They are known for providing high-quality service delivery, strong client relationships, and a professional, customer-focused approach. \n Role Overview \n We are seeking a Mobile Mechanical Engineer with a strong plumbing bias to deliver planned and reactive maintenance across a variety of client sites. \n This role involves working across multiple locations, ensuring building services systems are maintained to a high standard, compliant with regulations, and operating efficiently. \n Key Responsibilities \n Maintenance & Service Delivery \n\n • Carry out PPM and reactive maintenance on:\n \n, • Commercial and domestic plumbing systems\n, • Hot & cold-water systems\n, • Pumps, valves, pipework, and sanitary systems\n, • Heating systems and associated plant\n \n, • Diagnose faults and complete repairs effectively\n, • Support wider mechanical and M&E systems when required\n, • Ensure all work is completed to a high standard\n\n Compliance & Safety \n\n • Work in line with:\n \n, • Water Regulations & Legionella guidelines (L8 where applicable)\n, • Health & Safety standards\n \n, • Complete service reports, compliance documentation, and maintenance records\n, • Maintain strong attention to regulatory and compliance standards\n\n Reactive Maintenance \n\n • Attend breakdowns and emergency call-outs\n, • Identify root causes and implement long-term solutions\n, • Escalate major issues and support plant upgrades or replacements\n\n Client Interaction \n\n • Provide professional and customer-focused service\n, • Build and maintain strong client relationships\n, • Represent the business positively on-site\n\n General Duties \n\n • Travel across London & Home Counties (mobile role)\n, • Participate in call-out rota\n, • Maintain company vehicle, tools, and equipment\n, • Support minor install and project works when needed\n\n Skills & Experience \n\n • NVQ / City & Guilds in Plumbing or Mechanical Engineering\n, • Proven experience within building services or FM\n, • Strong fault-finding and diagnostic ability\n, • Experience working on commercial plumbing and heating systems\n, • Full UK Driving Licence\n\n Desirable \n\n • Legionella / L8 certification\n, • Basic electrical or HVAC knowledge\n, • Experience in commercial or public sector environments\n\n What’s on Offer \n\n • Competitive salary of £45,000\n, • Monday–Friday, 8:00am – 4:30pm (work-life balance)\n, • Paid overtime opportunities\n, • Call-out rota with additional earnings\n, • Company vehicle & fuel card\n, • Tools and uniform provided\n, • Ongoing training and development\n, • Stable, long-term contract portfolio\n, • Opportunity to work across diverse, high-profile sites\n\n The Ideal Candidate \n\n • Professional and reliable\n, • Strong attention to detail\n, • Customer-focused with good communication skills\n, • Self-motivated and able to work independently\n, • Takes pride in delivering high-quality work\n
