Role: Commercial Executive - Food Manufacturer Salary: Competitive Hours: 40 hours per week Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday (usually 8am-4pm, some flexibility may be required) Contract: Permanent Inspired Global Cuisine (IGC) Inspired Global Cuisine are a frozen ready meal manufacturer based in Gorton, East Manchester. We are an ambitious company who have grown significantly over the last 2 years, now producing over 1million meals a week and have plans to continue to grow. Which includes a re-location to a brand new 369 thousand square foot site in Chadderton, Oldham in early 2026 where we plan to double our volume over the next few years. About the role The Commercial Executive will support the Commercial Account Manager in delivering the customer agenda. Providing support with internal and customer teams, completing administrative tasks, undertaking instore information gathering. They will also generate sales and marketing reports and presentations and conduct analysis of market and internal data. As experience grows the aim will be to take over day to day responsibility for new customers. Responsibilities include: • Take ownership of the internal sales reporting, highlighting risks and opportunities, • Support on internal forecasting; aligning commercial plans with supply chain and NPD, • Manage any preexisting commercial agreements/invoices. Be responsible for raising invoices and tracking against agreed targets, • Support the NPD team by generating New Line Forms, aligning forecasts for new products and managing raw material risk, • Support administration and information requirements during NPD process, • Support the Account Manager & NPD team with presentations and meetings, • Involved in day-to-day account management e.g. price queries, supply chain / availability issues & ad hoc enquiries, • Support with presentations (creation and delivery) and data collation for New Business opportunities., • Become the point of contact for admin requirements as we on board new customers, • Conduct market research using tools such as Vyper, compile and analyse data generated from instore and online visits, • Be the key expert in Kantar data generating reports and presentations for internal and external usage, • Stay updated on industry developments and macro customer changes Skills & Experience • Excellent communication, and interpersonal skills that can build co-operative relationships., • Customer facing experience, • Analytical mindset and excellent organisational skills., • Highly motivated, enthusiastic and positive with a confident and professional undertaking., • Proficient in presentation skills, excel and the ability to adapt and learn internal systems., • Creative mind set with innovative ways of working support the promotion of the business, including social media. Undertake wide-ranging desk-based duties, including interrogating HMRC and external systems, conducting third-party enquiries, recording and reporting outcomes. Develop quality cases for intervention and criminal prosecution across all HMRC regimes, such as complex cyber-attacks, money laundering, tax fraud and smuggling of tobacco and alcohol in addition to new and emerging threats. Collaborate with counter-fraud professionals and law enforcement partners within HMRC and external law enforcement agencies across the UK and overseas, sharing expertise and working as part of a wider team to protect the UK. Prepare and present evidence within the criminal justice system, including drafting witness statements, attending court and giving evidence as required. Working to a standard that can withstand inspection by Team Leaders, the Courts and external authorities. Complying with legislation by undertaking the role of Disclosure Officer in relation to material, created or obtained during an investigation. Conduct covert surveillance operations, both foot and static, as part of intelligence-led investigations, showing resilience and adaptability under pressure. Triage, analyse and scope intelligence for action by intelligence and investigation partners as part of a thematic coordination function targeting a specific threat such as tobacco, tax evasion or illicit finance. Training and Assessment Period Please ensure you understand the following requirements before you apply: We recruit candidates based on aptitude and potential and will provide full training to give you the skills and experience needed to succeed. Successful candidates will need to undertake a training period of approximately 12 months. This will include online and on-the-job learning, a three-month course including 3-weeks residential and a 1-day Public and Personal Safety Training course with annual refresher training. The Public and Personal Safety Training includes physical activity and requires an appropriate level of fitness. You must be able to take part in, for example, jogging, stretching and movement exercises, self-defence and restraint techniques. Throughout the 12 months, you will have a Practical Training Officer to guide you through the process and will receive support from your management team and colleagues. Successful completion of all training is vital for the role. We provide candidates with as much support as possible but those who do not complete - and pass - all required training, cannot remain in the role and may need to be moved to an alternative role within HMRC. If that is not possible, your employment may be terminated. Other specialist training may also be required, dependent on the team you are placed in and the changing nature of surveillance work. Personal development will continue after the initial 12-month period and throughout your career.
