You'll be required to deliver the highest standard of customer service and maintain a high level of Health and Safety whilst ensuring every job is carried outto a high standard. Were looking for NVQ qualified plumbers to join our team on our Welsh Water Metering contract. You'll attend appointments in the am/pm or evening depending upon your shift pattern. You'll install and replace internal or external water meters all whilst engaging with customers to explain the next steps on their journey to becoming a metered customer. What youll bring Do you have proven experience in the plumbing industry? This is essential in order to carry out the role. Do you hold a recognised NVQ level 2 plumbing qualification? Our teams deliver large-scale capital programmes aimed at keeping water infrastructure resilient for the long-term while protecting the environment. What will you be doing? You'll act as the primary on-site authority for health and safety and conduct and document thorough risk assessments (RAS) prior to starting work. You'll ensure full compliance with safety protocols, company policies, and relevant legislation and maintain a safe and organised worksite, including traffic management and appropriate signage. We'll need you to manage the end-to-end delivery of metering installations and new connections whilst ensuring all work is completed to a high standard and within agreed timeframes. What youll bring Do you hold a current and valid Water Hygiene card and a valid StreetWorks Ticket (NRSWA)? Have you got proven hands-on experience in water metering or new connections?
