Job Title: CAD Technician Location: Leicester (Hybrid Working Not Available) Hours: Mon – Thurs 07:45-17:00, Friday 08:00 – 13:00 Salary: Up to £40,000 (depending on experience) Job Type: Full-Time We are working in partnership with a leading specialist in high-end interior fit-out and joinery who is looking to add a CAD Technician to their established design team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong CAD skills and a background in manufacturing or joinery to join a respected company with a reputation for delivering projects of exceptional quality. The Role As a CAD Technician, you will be responsible for producing accurate manufacturing models and technical drawings from architectural and design intent information. You’ll be working to company standards, ensuring compliance with project-specific requirements, and liaising closely with colleagues across design, production, and subcontractors. Key Responsibilities: • Producing detailed drawings and models for approval, construction, and manufacture, • Ensuring drawings are accurate, compliant, and completed within allocated budgets and timescales, • Coordinating with project teams, subcontractors, and internal departments to resolve design or technical queries, • Supporting with surveys, specifications, and cutting lists where required, • Maintaining accurate project records and adhering to all company standards and procedures About You The ideal candidate will have: • Proficiency in 2D AutoCAD and/or 3D CAD packages - 3 years +, • An understanding of joinery design and manufacturing processes, • A keen eye for detail with the ability to work accurately to deadlines, • Strong communication skills and the ability to liaise confidently with colleagues and subcontractors What’s on Offer • A competitive salary package (Up to £40,000 depending on experience), • Opportunity to work on high-profile, bespoke projects, • A supportive environment where career development is encouraged This role is ideal for someone with CAD expertise who wants to be part of a skilled design team in a company that values precision, collaboration, and quality.
