The Role: So, what will you be doing as a Modelling & Simulation Systems Engineer? Depending on programme assignment, responsibilities may include: • External flow aerodynamics modelling, • Trajectory modelling and analysis, • Aerothermodynamics modelling, • Thermal response modelling, • Model optimisation and calibration, • Ground trials analysis, • Technical reporting and presentation of results to internal and customer stakeholders What are we looking for in our next Modelling & Simulation Systems Engineer? • Experience in numerical modelling and computational methods, • Basic understanding of statistical methods, • Degree-level education (or equivalent experiential learning) with exposure to aeronautical or aerospace engineering, • Experience in high-speed aerodynamic analysis (hypersonics experience desirable), • Demonstrable application of modelling and simulation skills, • Proficiency with Windows and Linux operating systems, • Strong technical report writing skills, • Confident presentation and communication skills, • Ability to work effectively within multi-disciplinary teams, • Self-motivated with the ability to deliver programme milestones, • Comfortable engaging with customers and senior stakeholders, • Experience working in a classified environment (preferred), • Willingness to pursue DV clearance (preferred) So, if you are interested in joining a well-established, renowned, globally recognised organisation working with experts in their field as the next Modelling & Simulation Systems Engineer, hit that apply button now!
