Registered Manager – Children’s Residential Care The Opportunity We are recruiting for an experienced Registered Manager to lead a children’s residential home supporting young people with social, emotional and behavioural needs. This is a key leadership role, offering full operational responsibility for the home, with the opportunity to drive standards, build a strong team, and deliver positive, long-term outcomes for young people. The Role As Registered Manager, you will: • Take full responsibility for the day-to-day running of the home, • Lead, develop and inspire a high-performing staff team, • Create a safe, structured and nurturing environment for young people, • Drive a culture of accountability, consistency and positive outcomes Compliance & Quality • Ensure the home operates in line with Ofsted regulations and standards, • Oversee safeguarding, risk management and incident processes, • Maintain high-quality care plans, assessments and documentation, • Lead on inspections and continuously improve service performance Leadership & Operations • Manage recruitment, staffing levels and workforce planning, • Deliver regular supervisions, appraisals and development plans, • Manage budgets, occupancy and overall service performance, • Work closely with senior leadership on service development and strategy Stakeholder Engagement • Build strong relationships with Local Authorities, Ofsted and external professionals, • Represent the home professionally and maintain a positive reputation, • Ensure effective communication with families and key stakeholders ✅ What We’re Looking For • Proven experience as a Registered Manager within a children’s home, • Strong understanding of Ofsted regulations and inspection frameworks, • Experience supporting young people with SEMH / complex needs, • Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management (or working towards), • Confident leader with a track record of improving services and outcomes What’s On Offer • Competitive salary + performance-related incentives, • Full autonomy to lead and shape your service, • Support from an experienced senior leadership team, • Clear progression opportunities within a growing organisation Apply Now If you are an experienced Registered Manager looking for a role where you can lead from the front, drive standards, and make a genuine impact, apply now or get in touch for a confidential discussion
